Chick Corea has released a new box set entitled "5 Trios" which features 5 CDs, one of which is a new trio recording with bassist Hadrien Feraud and Richie. The other musicians on this release include Eddie Gomez, Jack DeJohnette, Christian McBride, Jeff Ballard, John Patitucci, Antonio Sanchez, and Airto. You can preview this exciting new recording at

Richie will be performing for the first time with the eminent Jazz pianist Kenny Werner on some European dates in Spain and France. The trio will also feature European bassist Hein van de Geijn, and saxophonist Iain Ballamy will join on one concert. Stay tuned for future engagements with Kenny Werner and a new trio featuring bassist Jorge Roeder, in October and November 2007.

Richie was recently interviewed on the BBC´s The World show from NPR. The interview discussed recent tours and projects and included an in-studio performance. It took place at WGBH studios in Boston with The World's Alex Gallefent and was broadcast on April 4th.
