Greetings Everyone....

As summer cools to a close, I hope you'll have a chance to join me at some of these upcoming musical events in September and October - starting with two Brooklyn festivals where I've been involved as music curator. I've also been in the studio a lot recently, working on a new recording that's taken 7 years to materialize: a self-released recording featuring my new trio "RB3", the "Roundtable" band from our 2007 UK tour, and some other very special guests....It's the first recording I've made since "Homework" featuring Herbie Hancock back in 2003! Stay tuned for updates......

As always, you're invited to visit www.RichieBarshay.com for more.....
And I hope to see you at one of these live performances soon!
Take care,
--Richie

Greetings Everyone!

Where ever you are during these summer months, stay cool and keep listening to the music. It's also a time to be outdoors. If you're near a coast, you may be interested in a meaningful nationwide event - Hands Across the Sand - on Saturday, June 26th, at 11 am. Tens of thousands of people are getting together at beaches across the country for a massive event called "Hands Across The Sand." We'll join hands on the beach, making a literal "line in the sand" to say "no" to new offshore drilling and "yes" to clean energy. The NYC location will be Coney Island, Saturday, 26 Jun 2010, 11:00 AM.
For more info: MoveOn.org / Hands Across the Sand

Whether you hold someone's hand or not, right now seems like a good time to support our beaches, gulfs and oceans. . . . And I hope to see you at one of these live performances soon. . .
