After much anticipation, I'm very excited to announce details about my first ever trip to the Middle East - visiting Israel and Palestine as musical director of an interactive learning and music outreach project called Holy Land Tour. What's more exciting? We are inviting up to 20 participants to join us on the trip - which means YOU.....

HOLY LAND TOUR: TO RAISE THE LEVEL OF AWARENESS ON MIDDLE EAST ISSUES
October 21st - November 6th, 2012

YOU ARE INVITED to consider joining CrossCurrents International Institute on this special program in Israel and Palestine. This is not a traditional tour to the Holy Land. We will meet with local community leaders, scholars, teachers, farmers, students, musicians, and artists. We'll have chances to listen and learn about life in both Palestine and Israel, sharing music along the way with workshops, concerts, and exchanges with local musicians. The program in Palestine and Israel has been arranged by Holy Land Trust, a non-profit organization based in Bethlehem.

MUSIC will be a central part of the trip and our various group interactions. I'll be joined by fantastic singer and multi-instrumentalist Jean Rohe in leading music workshops, concerts, and informal moments along the way.

We invite everyone to apply to be a part of this group. We will limit the size to 15 to 20 people. We seek to have a mixed group: different ages, different viewpoints on Middle East, different religious backgrounds (or no religion), different ethnicities, different cultures.
